I am also posting it in hopes that a programmer out there will notice it and develop everyone a shareware utility for cycling COLOR PICT files - without the need for an FPU - in slideshow, screen saver fashion.

After the initial screen, you will be presented with a standard save dialog asking you for the name of the PICS file. Enter the name and click Save. Next you will be presented with a standard open dialog. Select any PICT in the folder that you want to compile and click OPEN. The program will proceed to save all of the PICTS into the PICS file and return you to the finder. Double click on the new PICS file and it will launch Macromind Director, where you may import the PICS file into your cast. Have fun.

The utility came about because I am a Mac and Super Nintendo game developer and the artists I work with find it almost impossible to draw animating objects with applications like Painter, Studio/32, Photoshop, etc. because none of them have any kind of animation features. All you’ve got to do is copy each frame from your drawing program and then select either Add, Replace, or Insert in AnimHelp to include the frame in the current animation sequence.
